నవ భారత ఆకాశంలో పెను చీకటి క్రమ్మిన వేళ
వెలిగిందొక నూతన జ్యోతి పులకించగ భారత జాతి

ఒక ఉగదినాడుదయించి తరతరాల అలసట ద్రుంచి
నవయుగమును ప్రారంభించే యువతరాన్ని సృష్టించింది హృదయాలను రగిలించింది

అరుణారుణ ధ్వజమును నిలిపి కిరణాలను నలుగడ నడిపి
జడ మూఢ జనావళి కుదిపే తొలి వెలుగులు ప్రసరించింది పెను నిద్దుర వదిలించింది

ఈ దేశము నాదను మమత ప్రజసమైక్య పరచే క్షమత
తన కార్యక్రమాలను నవత జోడించి నిలిపే జాతీయత చివురింపజేసే నేకాత్మత
